Yoga is a thousand year old Indian philosophy.
Its main goal is to reduce suffering and
to increase our well-being.
By practicing poses that are known as asanas,
we try to achieve a balance between the body and the mind.
The breath is used as well to support the asanas, which in turn
has a calming effect on the mind.
In this way, we can quiet the mind. Through this process,
yoga has a positive effect on our general well-being;
physically we become more flexible, more stable,
and we can develop greater self-awareness.
